Our favorite little Witch!!

This was such a fun day with my kids! We just jumped in filmore (we have named our new van filmore and he is considered a family member!! We love him!!) and headed out on an adventure. He took us to see the witches at the Garner Village. This is such a cool fall thing to do. It was a perfect fall day with my kids! And my little witches favorite part...the candy store. I couldn't help myself I had to just let her splurge!

We have made it to 5 months!!!

I am wondering why my title is sounding so relieved?? Maybe because I am proud of brad and I that we have lasted this long with sleepless nights... I thought for sure we would have this nailed since Addie was sleeping 12 hours at 9 weeks!! Well I know that is the way the cookie crumbles...or what ever you might say. I deserve this I guess! No two kids are alike I now know.

But I am not complaining. How lucky are we that we can cuddle this ADORABLE little guy all by ourselves at 1, 3, 5, and 7:00 in the morning!! It has been my time to bond with him. He is never to fussy. Easy to calm. He just wants to be loved. And the fact that he is looking to us to give him that is such a gift. That is the real reward. The hard work is just a way to help you care endlessly about them.

He is now rolling over and sitting up. His laugh is to die for! We will do anything embarrassing to get him to laugh for us! I never want to forget my children's laughter. And food, this little guy loves to eat food!! That is why we are always up at night. Time has flown by this far. I only wish I could slow it down for just a time. I know I am going to miss this.

Happy 3rd Birthday Sweetie!

Addie was restless the day before her birthday. She believed that if she stayed awake her day would come sooner. After many attempts to get her to sleep, the sandman finally set in. Then bright and early (at 6:00 am) she walks out of her room with misty eyes and says " is it my birthday?". When we told her it was she ran to the kitchen to put on her birthday hat ( the one that I purchased last year and could not for the life of me get her to put on!!)

On our way to the Zoo she asks "Is everyone going to be wearing their birthday hats?". This is why I love little kids. In her mind it is her day and everyone is celebrating too. We had fun playing at the Zoo and her favorite, the train ride!

I can't believe we have a 3 year old! I never thought of birthdays being sentimental, but I have to admit I did get a little choked up a couple of times when I would look at her and think of the journey we have had. I love her for making me a mom. I love her for helping me grow up a bit. And I love her for the special person she is in our family and our lives. Happy Birthday sweet pea!

Emmett's first Watermelon

Today was a beautiful day! And the best part was watching Emmett enjoy watermelon. When I would pull it away he would start to fuss. It was so funny. Is this a bad thing??

My Little Man...Oh how I LOVE HIM!!

I told Brad that our next baby would be a momma's boy, and I think I was right. I can't explain just how much I love this little guy! He is so sweet and cuddley to his mommy. I needed this one:)

Crafts gone bad!!

It was the look in her eyes that let me convince myself "just let her do it". She new she was doing something messy, but why wasn't mom telling me to stop??? Why would I? She was laughing so hard and having such a good time, I just couldn't stop her.

"You look weird in that?" she would say. "Yes, I look weird in that!!". This was hard for me to do, as many know I like to keep messes to a minimum...I just had to let my guard down. Only for the cutest little girl ever!
