Thanks to Grandma for keeping my kids dressed to the nine's!!

Merry Christmas 2009

Tickle Monster Gloves

I think this was her Favorite!!!

Making new traditions

We are going to do this again!! We had so much fun spreading Christmas cheer this Christmas Eve. Together with some friends, we went caroling to several families in our neighborhood. There is nothing better than hearing caroling on your door step.
She just couldn't stay awake.

This one is for you Mom!!! This had a long time to raise while we were caroling:)

Sled's are for Sissy's

The age old favorite...

Tupperware!!!
I love when they discover the Tupperware cupboard. This is a truly happy boy now!

Going to see Santa

I thought it was in the bag this year. We were so excited to go and see Santa that we wrote him a special letter, got all dressed up and wore the special ring that he had given her last Christmas.
But when it was our turn to say hello...she froze. Not really froze though, she screamed!! It got her brother crying and the kids behind us in line crying!
After a few attempts and a little bribery we got the job done!!
The only thing now is that she wants the letter back...

The Bull Rushes!!

This was one of those times when you are a kid that you will never forget...at least our daughter. Only because mom and dad are always watching out for messes. And this time we let her GET MESSY!!!
It was so fun to hear her laugh...she laughed so hard we had to make an emergency trip back home to change her pants!!! I love this little girl. And I love the simple things that we can do together that make us laugh!

Brad's Fishing Trip

This was a trip Brad planed with his dad and my brother Grady. They had heard that you had the potential of snagging a lot of Salmon. So off they went with their coolers and a plan, ready to pull in hundreds on Salmon....
By the end of the day, they hadn't caught one! They bared the frigid cold and drove 3 hours... to not bring one home...
But you know how boys are. This was good man time spent so they weren't to disappointed. Brad had a great time spending it with his dad.

The day has finally arrived!

We have been talking about this day for a whole month now. I think little Jessie thought the day would never come. She would ask me everyday "is it Halloween time yet?". So it finally came. It is so funny to see your kids put on their costumes and transform into their favorite character for a day. I think I am catching the Halloween spirit more with my kids. Everything is funner with my kids! We had Woody and Jessie and Julia Childs and a Chile pepper. That was a fun time showing off our costumes and kids!
The best part of the day was when I was washing off her freckles and she says " I'm not gona be Jessie any more..." How fun it is to pretend.

Happy Halloween!!

A little more Whitchy fun!!

The Great Pumpkin Patch

At the old Red Barn in Santaquin, they hold this pumpkin weighing contest and a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch to pick the perfect pumpkin. So off we went to find our perfect pumpkin!
The biggest of all the pumpkins weighed in at a whopping 725 lbs.!! After seeing this we are thinking seriously about tearing out a patch of grass and getting into the world of growing the largest pumpkin.
It rained on us all the way to the pumpkin patch. So we were soaked by the time we trecked through the muddy patch. What an adventure! I love having little adventures with our kids! What more fun can be had than being a kid right along with them??
